This was disclosed by the Secretary to the Government (SGF) of the Federation, Mr Babachir Lawal, at the Christmas Carol Service held at St. Theresa’s Cathedral, Jimeta, Yola.

The SGF said that the Muhammadu Buhari administration prioritises  security of lives and property in order to promote economic development.

Lawal said: "So far, the Federal Government has renovated and rebuilt not less than 25 schools destroyed by Boko Haram in seven local government areas of Adamawa.

"Similarly, we were able to rebuild the same number of police stations in the affected areas."

On the 2017 budget, Lawal said primary objective of the budget is economic and human development.

According to him, the President has also approved reconstruction of four federal roads in the budget.

The roads are; Yola-Mubi, Mararaba Mubi-Gwoza, Numan- Cham (Gombe) and Numan-Jalingo.
