Bokan Confirms: Our Doors Are Wide Open for Mirotić

"I see a lot of buzz has been created, and I'm reading the reactions. We truly did speak. I had a drink with Mr. Nikola Mirotić, who is currently in Montenegro and training in our development team's gym, as he does every year. I took the opportunity to chat with one of Montenegro's most successful players. We discussed various topics, personal matters, and of course, basketball. We also talked about Nikola's future and his career. He mentioned he's waiting and primarily interested in the EuroLeague. I wouldn't want my statement to be misunderstood, but as a serious and responsible individual, someone who leads Montenegro's biggest club and heads the Basketball Federation of Montenegro, I told Nikola that we are always at his disposal." - Dragan Bokan

"If his ambitions and personal circumstances align at any point, the doors are wide open for him – both to Budućnost, which plays in the EuroCup, and to the Montenegrin national team. This was primarily my duty as the president of the Basketball Federation of Montenegro during a conversation with someone from Podgorica, from Montenegro, who has built such a career. It would be a tremendous honor for Nikola Mirotić to wear the Budućnost jersey." - Dragan Bokan
