Bogdanović Addresses Possible Partizan Return: "I Don't Understand!"

Bogdan Bogdanović hasn't seen much action for the Los Angeles Clippers this season, fueling speculation about a potential return to Europe and Partizan. However, the reality of such a move at this moment remains a big question mark.

In a recent game against the Milwaukee Bucks, Bogdanović saw only eight minutes of court time, recording one rebound and one assist. Following the match, he spoke with RTS, addressing rumors about a potential return to Partizan.

"I'm following it, I know as much as you do (referring to the RTS journalist). I see it in the media too. It's nice to see those pictures, but... What, am I supposed to make a decision now? I don't understand. I have seven games left here, then the playoffs, so my head is focused on that. I'm not thinking about next year or next month," Bogdanović responded.

This season, due to both injuries and coaching decisions, Bogdanović has played only 20 NBA games, a significant departure from his usual playing time.

"I'm here, I'm ready, I'm working, I'm training. It is what it is, the season is what it is. I'm trying to get into the best possible shape for when the playoffs start."

Bogdanović also reflected on the recent European Championship, which he exited prematurely due to injury, an event that contributed to Serbia's surprising elimination in the Round of 16.

"I regret the missed opportunity, as does everyone. There's no time to look back. That cycle is over, we move on, a new summer, new 'windows.' These things happen, one bad game, one bad day. Of course, all those internal issues, injuries when they occur, or other personal matters, affect the team, but that stays just between us in the locker room. I mean, nothing happened, they didn't give up because I got injured, nor can I guarantee that we would have won gold if I had stayed until the end. There were mistakes from us, from the coaches, from everyone. When you don't win, then it's a mistake."

Bogdanović confirmed he is in contact with the new national team coach, Dušan Alimpijević.

"We talk, of course. I've always said I'm available, but I don't know, we'll see. Of course, I've always answered the call, but now I'm just joking a bit because of my age, but we'll see," Bogdan Bogdanović concluded.
