As first reported by "The Athletic," the Clippers have declined to pick up the team option on the Serbian player's contract, officially making him a free agent. The Clippers also exercised their option for Brook Lopez, who will earn $9.2 million next year. Alongside Bogdanović, Nicolas Batum also received a thank you.

For Bogdanović, this means his collaboration under the current contract will not continue. For the upcoming season, the former Partizan and Fenerbahçe player had a team option worth a substantial $16 million. Bogdanović arrived in Los Angeles from Atlanta last year via trade, averaging 7.4 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 2.4 assists.

An exceptionally interesting summer lies ahead for Bogdanović. He can now weigh various options, and it remains to be seen whether he will continue playing in the world's premier league or return to Europe after nearly a decade.
