The Serbian guard logged just over 15 minutes on the court, finishing with four points, four assists, and two rebounds. He converted his only two-point attempt, missed all three of his shots from beyond the arc, and went a perfect 2-for-2 from the free-throw line.
Houston controlled the tempo right from the start, taking a commanding 20-point cushion into halftime (65-45). Dallas put up more resistance after the break but never seriously threatened the Rockets' lead. Tari Eason paced Houston with a team-high 20 points, while Alperen Sengun recorded a triple-double with 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. Kevin Durant chipped in with 15 points.
For the Mavericks, last year's top NBA draft pick Cooper Flagg led the scoring with 19 points, six rebounds, and three assists. Tarik Biberovic added nine points in the loss.
Houston and Dallas will clash once more in Macau, with their second preseason game scheduled for Sunday at 12:00 PM CET.
