Black-and-Whites look to extinguish frontcourt 'fire': Former Zvezda player close to signing

According to Greek outlet "Gazetta," the Thessaloniki-based club is actively searching for a new center, and the former Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet player is high on their wish list.

Motiejunas has been a free agent since departing Mali Kalemegdan and could soon join Andrea Trinchieri's squad.

After a lengthy NBA career and stints in China, the Lithuanian returned to Europe in 2021, signing with Monaco. He then moved to Zvezda. His European career also includes playing for Žalgiris, where he began, Benetton, and Prokom.

Across seven EuroLeague seasons, he has accumulated 187 appearances in Europe's premier club competition, averaging 8.2 points and 3.7 rebounds per game.

Reportedly, Motiejunas isn't the only option for PAOK, who are also inquiring about the availability of former Panathinaikos and Real Madrid player, Omer Yurtseven.
