Bizarre Incident Ahead of Crvena Zvezda Clash: Basketball Player Reported to Police After Locals Mistake Him for Migrant During Morning Jog

Široki basketball player Chavaughn Lewis found himself in an unusually awkward predicament. The American guard took to the streets in the early morning hours for a routine conditioning workout. However, his morning jog escalated into a bizarre incident when residents of Kočerin, where the player is currently residing, suspected him of being a migrant and immediately alerted local police.

According to local outlet "Hercegovina.info," passersby spotted an unfamiliar person jogging along a newly built sidewalk at dawn and decided to report the activity straight to law enforcement.

The bizarre misunderstanding should not derail his focus ahead of a major fixture, as Lewis and his Široki team are set to face Crvena Zvezda in Belgrade this Sunday.

Over four ABA League appearances so far this season, Lewis has averaged 10.5 points and 4.8 assists per game.
