Bernardo Silva: A Disappointing World Cup

Bernardo Silva has spoken out following Portugal's elimination from the FIFA World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. The 'Navigators' reached the Round of 16, where they were knocked out by Spain with a 1-0 defeat, conceding a goal in stoppage time. The midfielder, one of Real Madrid's new signings, expressed his disappointment and sorrow on his Instagram profile.

“A disappointing World Cup and immense sadness that we finished much earlier than anyone imagined. It has always been, and always will be, a huge source of pride to represent our national team. Thank you to all Portuguese for the support and hope you gave us,” Bernardo Silva wrote.
