Alternative soul singer, Bemyoda has revealed reasons why he gives away some of his music for free.
The Bemyoda has had considerable success with the release of his EP, ‘Sketch’, in 2013, after the success of the single ‘Shima Yam’.
The singer talked to Pulse TV, stating that he gives his materials for free because of the valued feedback.
“For me it was an experiment, I wanted to see what kind of experiment I was going to get, and when you are going to do that, you are not trying to sell it.” Bemyoda said.
“There are people who say ‘we’ll rather buy it because I know you put money into it, but generally I just wanted to give it out for free because the feedback was important.”
It was based on that feedback I went back and I changed a couple of things here and there.I went to Nashville last year and I recorded a couple of songs, and this is the first of that body of work that I wanted to put out.”
“Yes I am working towards an album, and it will be out by the end of this year, or early next year depending on what happens.”
