Been married for over 10 years, but I don't want sex anymore

I’ve been married for over 10 years. I’ve had all the sex I need to in my life, and truthfully, I’m just over it. Plus I’m a little bored. My husband doesn’t understand. He says he will try new things. But I told him I’m good. I love him. I want to spend the rest of my life with him. But right now, I don’t want to have sex with him.

Having sex with the same person can start to feel like a routine after a while. Instead of looking at it as the same old routine, you have to remind yourself that this is something special that only you and your partner share.

Try taking a vacation together and having hotel sex, or working in some new positions. Anything that can make sex feel new is great. And, if things still aren’t working for you, it may be time to consider having couples therapy.
