The Ukrainian big man joins Baskonia after a one-year stint with Real Madrid, where he made his EuroLeague debut last season.

The 33-year-old arrived at the Madrid powerhouse as a high-profile signing with extensive NBA experience, but his role in the EuroLeague remained limited.

During the 2025/26 EuroLeague season, the 2.13-meter center played 23 games for Real Madrid, averaging 3.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 0.9 blocks in 9:10 minutes per contest.

His best performance in the competition came against Panathinaikos, where he recorded personal bests of 18 points and a performance index rating of 27.

Before returning to Europe, Len spent over a decade in the NBA. He was selected by the Phoenix Suns as the fifth overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft after his collegiate career at Maryland.

Throughout his NBA career, Len played for several teams, including the Phoenix Suns, Atlanta Hawks, Sacramento Kings, Toronto Raptors, Washington Wizards, and Los Angeles Lakers. He was a teammate of Aleksandar Vezenkov (2023/24) for one season with the Kings.

His career averages stand at 6.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 0.9 blocks across a total of 690 regular-season games.

Len signed with Real Madrid after playing for the Lakers, marking his return to European basketball after 12 years in the NBA.
