Basketballers Eyeing Gold: Where and When to Watch Serbia vs. Lithuania Quarter-Final and the Entire Euro Championship Finale
- Serbia first defeated Switzerland at the European Championship.
- The Eagles then also overcame Belgium.
It's widely known that in any tournament, the quarter-final is often the toughest match, primarily psychologically. The winner advances to contend for medals, while the loser packs their bags. This is precisely the situation the Serbian basketball players will face this Sunday at 1:15 PM, as they play their European Championship quarter-final against Lithuania in Antwerp.
The Eagles topped their group, securing victories over Switzerland and host nation Belgium. Lithuania, meanwhile, finished second in their group, behind Latvia but ahead of the Republic of Ireland. This seeding has set up a quarter-final clash between Serbia and Lithuania, which will be the first match of Sunday's schedule.
Knockout Stage Bracket
The entire knockout phase will be played on Sunday, meaning all quarter-final winners will play three matches in a single day.
Should Serbia defeat Lithuania, they will face the winner of the Germany – Netherlands match (starting at 1:45 PM) in the semi-finals.
On the other side of the bracket, the pairings are Spain – France (3:30 PM) and Latvia – Belgium (4:00 PM).
The semi-final matches are scheduled for 7:00 PM and 7:30 PM, the bronze medal match for 8:45 PM, and the grand final for 9:45 PM.
