Ronald Koeman has shared a deeply sorrowful message on his Instagram. His wife, Bartina, passed away on Tuesday after a prolonged serious illness. Since Koeman stepped down as national coach of the Dutch national team last summer, he had spent a significant amount of time with her. Bartina was 65 years old.

'With profound sadness, yet also with immense pride and love, we bid farewell to my beautiful wife, our dearest mother and grandmother,' Ronald Koeman wrote on his Instagram.
