Barcelona's management is exploring various options to bolster their squad this summer, and Osasuna winger Victor Muñoz has reportedly caught the eye of the club's hierarchy, according to "Mundo Deportivo." The wide player has impressed with his performances for "the Reds" this season, having registered five goals and two assists in 29 La Liga appearances so far. The player also has a release clause in his contract valued at 40 million euros.

The major hurdle, according to "Mundo Deportivo," could be that 50% of the player's rights are owned by arch-rivals Real Madrid. Muñoz arrived in Pamplona from "Los Blancos'" reserve team last summer, with Osasuna paying just 5 million euros for his services. However, Real Madrid holds a three-year buy-back option on the player, valued at 8, 9, and 10 million euros in each of the upcoming years. This is precisely the main concern for the Catalans regarding any potential deal. There is a strong belief at Camp Nou that Santiago Bernabéu will activate their option to re-sign the player, solely to prevent him from joining Barcelona.
