The home team held the lead for most of the game, and it seemed they might secure a comfortable victory. However, Efes mounted a comeback, narrowing the deficit to just three points (74-71) with 36 seconds remaining. Despite their efforts, they couldn't defend the crucial possession. Clyburn drew a foul, sinking both free throws, ultimately sealing a two-point win for the hosts.

Will Clyburn delivered a strong performance for the Catalans, finishing with 21 points and five rebounds. Tornike Shengelia added 14, while Jan Vesely also reached double digits with ten points. For the visitors, Ercan Osmani led with 18 points and eight rebounds, P.J. Dozier contributed 13, and Nick Weiler-Babb had 11 points.

Barcelona secured their second consecutive EuroLeague victory, improving their record to 19-14. They now face a fierce battle for a playoff spot, as Zalgiris, Monaco, and Panathinaikos share the same record, with Crvena Zvezda also in contention. In the next round, Xavi Pascual's team will host Crvena Zvezda this Friday.

Meanwhile, Anadolu Efes's playoff hopes vanished long ago, and they now stand at 10-23. In their next fixture, the Turkish side will travel to face Real Madrid in two days.
