Barcelona has reportedly taken another step forward in their pursuit of Inter Milan's central defender Alessandro Bastoni, who is a primary transfer target for the Catalan giants.
The 26-year-old defender is said to be keen on a move to the Spanish powerhouse following a disappointing season for both his club and the national team. TV3 even claims that Bastoni has already agreed to join the Catalan side this summer, though negotiations over his personal terms are ongoing, and it remains uncertain whether Barcelona will reach an agreement with Inter.
Bastoni's price tag varies significantly. Sources close to the Milan club suggest Inter is seeking €70-80 million for the Italian international, while others indicate that €40-50 million might be sufficient. The defender currently has two years remaining on his contract, with no signs of an imminent renewal.
