The information, published this Thursday, should still be treated with a degree of caution. With approximately nine months remaining until the kit's unveiling, the source itself admits that the final design could still undergo changes. Nevertheless, "Footy Headlines" assures that the chances of the historic emblem being part of the kit are currently "very high."

Barça's initial crest was used from the club's founding in 1899 until 1910. In its early years, the club adopted an emblem inspired by the city of Barcelona's coat of arms. It wasn't until 1910 that the club decided to create its own crest through a competition, which was won by Carles Comamala, the designer of the emblem that eventually evolved into the one we recognize today.

The reintroduction of this symbol would forge a direct link to Barcelona's origins. If confirmed, it would also be the first time a first-team jersey officially incorporates this initial emblem as a central design element.

Beyond the emblem, some details regarding the color palette of the future kit are already known. Nike is expected to utilize a combination of two dark shades of blue and red, which will form the basis of the traditional blaugrana stripes.
