Barcelona is reportedly keeping a close eye on Hoffenheim striker Fisnik Asllani, according to the player's agent. The Spanish champions are said to be interested in signing him during the summer transfer window.
Robert Lewandowski is currently expected to leave Barcelona as a free agent this summer, while speculation also surrounds Ferran Torres' future. As a result, a new striker could arrive at Camp Nou, with Asllani potentially being that player. According to the 23-year-old's agent, Ayman Dahmani, there has been "contact from the Catalan club" regarding a potential transfer in the upcoming market.
"Barcelona's interest in the player is real at this moment, and there has been contact from the Catalan club," Dahmani told Erem News.
The striker has registered 9 goals and 8 assists in 28 appearances for Hoffenheim this season, including 8 goals and 7 assists in the Bundesliga. Asllani has also scored 4 times in 13 matches for the Kosovo national team, finding the net in their 4-3 victory over Slovakia on Thursday evening.
However, Barcelona isn't the only club showing interest in the player. Chelsea, Tottenham, and Aston Villa are also among the clubs linked with the 191 cm tall forward, who reportedly has a "written release clause" in his Hoffenheim contract worth around 25 million euros, making him an accessible option during the summer transfer window.
