The CBF confirmed that medical examinations revealed Raphinha suffered slight muscular swelling in the back of his right thigh. "As a precaution, the player has been released from the Brazilian national team. No replacement will be called up for the friendly against India," the CBF said in a statement quoted by the AP. Raphinha is now expected to complete his recovery in Spain.
