'Careless' Barca May Lose Messi To Real Madrid

Magic-feet Lionel Messi may become move from Barcelona to Spanish rivals los Blancos if Barca are not careful enough.

A shock move by the Madrid giants could see the Catalans losing their talisman to their greatest rival says Real Madrid legend Hugo Sanchez.

Sanchez believes Barcelona are vulnerable to bids for Lionel Messi.

"Messi is not feeling valued highly enough by Barcelona with his contract and they must be careful," he told Bein Sport.

He argues that Messi is not pleased with his current Barcelona deal, which runs until 2018.

"If Barca are careless, I can see Real Madrid signing him."

However, Barcelona fans can breathe easy for now because transfers between the arch-rivals are rare.

In the past 14 years, Javier Saviola is the only player to have moved between the two clubs, leaving Barca for Madrid in 2007.
