Renowned disc jockey DJ Xclusive confirmed this at the recently held AMVCA 2016 awards that there was indeed a Banky W Hip-Hop project alongside in the works. DJ Xclusive also said it was going to be a mixtape with a maximum of 6 songs.

“There is a mixtape coming out that I’m doing with Banky W. It’s a Hip-hop mixtape. Strictly rap as there are going to be about 4, 5, 6 songs on it.” Xclusive told YNaija.

The disc jockey also revealed that he would also be dropping an album- a follow up to his 2015 album- ‘’According to X ‘’ along with other projects he has lined up for the next few weeks.

He said: “There is going to be another album of mine coming out. I am also going to be announcing something next week -a new project I’m working on. There is also a song I’m doing with Tiwa Savage, that should be out soon. Let’s just say I’m pretty much occupied.”

The gifted disc Jockey recently premiered a mini video project titled ‘’off his ''According to X'' debut album dropped last year with the video featuring singer Burna boy.

The 21-track album features the cream of African music royalty, with names such as 2face Idibia, Cassper Nyovest, Timaya, Terry G, Wizkid, D’Prince, Phyno, Olamide, Sarkodie, Banky W, Davido, Tiwa Savage, Patoranking, Skales, Burna Boy, Ice Prince, among others.
