Bahrain to Host Sole Formula 1 Pre-Season Test in 2027

Following today's announcement of the 2027 Formula 1 calendar, the dates and venue for next year's sole pre-season test have now been confirmed.

The test will take place at the Sakhir International Circuit in Bahrain from February 24th to 27th. The season is scheduled to kick off with the Bahrain Grand Prix on March 14th, with the first of ten sprint races also slated for Sakhir the day prior.

Naturally, these Formula 1 plans are provisional and subject to change, given the ongoing instability in the Middle East. Earlier, F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali stated that a final decision on whether the season will commence as planned, or if alterations will be necessary, is expected by the end of 2026.
