Ateba Gouty Shines with Knockout at UFC 328, Calls Out Adesanya

One of the top favorites at UFC 328, Ateba Gouty, lived up to expectations with a spectacular knockout win over Ozzy Diaz in the final preliminary card bout on Saturday night.

In the first round, Diaz threw a careless straight punch. The counter was a devastating right overhand that ended the fight. Immediately after the impact, Diaz collapsed to the canvas, and the referee intervened swiftly to stop the contest before further damage could be inflicted. The end came at 1:10 of the second round.

“I worked very hard and I’m happy,” Gouty stated after his latest victory. “I trained with my team and I knew what I had to do. Exactly what we practiced all week, and I executed it. Honestly, my dream fight is against Israel Adesanya. I really want to fight him. Ever since I started in MMA, I’ve always admired him,” the fighter added.

With this victory, Gouty improved his UFC record to 5-0.
