Atalanta forward Charles De Ketelaere has revealed he held talks with Paris Saint-Germain over the summer, but a move ultimately didn't materialize. He also confirmed that his asking price was set at €50 million.
“Yes, I think it was around that figure. But you have to find a team willing to pay it. A few Premier League teams are capable of that, but it didn't happen. I spoke with PSG, but in the end, they opted for Ferran Torres. I'm happy at Atalanta and I know how important it is to play regularly as a starter after my time at Milan. One day I would like to compete for trophies. I have that ambition, but I'm only 25 and still have time,” De Ketelaere told La Derniere Heure.
This season, the Belgian international has registered one assist in six appearances across all competitions.
