At Long Last! Singer OJB Leaves For Kidney Transplant In India

Finally, today ailing singer<strong> OJB Jezreel</strong> has taken the flight bird to India to undergo a surgical procedure to remedy his failed kidney. Accompanied by his supportive wife, popularly known as <strong>Mama J</strong>, the veteran entertainer is off for a kidney transplant.

This move was made possible due to the combined financial efforts of his friends, family, concerned donors, and on a large scale, the Rivers State Government headed by Rotimi Amaechi.

Speaking with a reporter, OJB did gush on his appreciation, giving thanks to all who played a role in his aid.

‘I’m not sure how long this will take but I’m so grateful for the love that Nigerians have shown me. I trust in God that all will be well.’

Accompanied by their son, daughter and a clutch of concerned family, The couple departed Lagos via a 10-hour Emirate Airline flight scheduled for 2:30pm departure time. OJB and wife are expected to spend a duration of 3 months in India.
