In Buenos Aires, a 51-year-old man suffered a fatal heart attack during the game. At least six other people received medical attention from local emergency services and were transported to hospitals. All of them are now out of danger.

In San Francisco, Córdoba province, a 20-year-old man was shot three times in the back during celebrations after the Argentine national team's victory. The incident caused panic among hundreds of revelers in the streets, as it occurred within the crowd, according to local media outlet "Cadena 3."

According to the same media, the prosecution, which has taken over the murder investigation, confirmed that the assailant escaped into the crowd and no other injuries were reported. Therefore, the primary hypothesis is that the incident was a settling of scores.

The victim had been conditionally released just days earlier, having served a sentence for armed robbery.

Another episode of violence amidst the Argentine joy over qualifying for the World Cup semi-finals unfolded in downtown Buenos Aires, near the iconic Obelisco. City police dispersed several dozen people who were still gathered there, deploying infantry units that fired rubber bullets on Avenida 9 de Julio.

Argentina's next match will be against England – a fixture with significant symbolic and historical weight. The rivalry stems from the 1982 armed conflict between the two nations' forces over the Falkland Islands in the South Atlantic. Adding to this is the 1986 World Cup match in Mexico, where the "Albiceleste" defeated the English team 2-1 after two historic goals from the legendary Diego Maradona.
