ASVEL emphasized that Crowder's experience, character, defensive prowess, and winning spirit were key factors in securing the transfer.

The 36-year-old American will bring extensive NBA experience to the French team, having spent 14 seasons in the league and participating in over 900 regular season and playoff games. This move marks his first foray into European basketball.

Crowder was selected 34th overall in the 2012 NBA Draft and played 812 regular season games, averaging 9.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.6 assists.

His NBA career spanned across several teams, including the Dallas Mavericks, Boston Celtics, Utah Jazz, Cleveland Cavaliers, Memphis Grizzlies, Miami Heat, Phoenix Suns, Milwaukee Bucks, and Sacramento Kings.
