Gabriel Jesus has been a shining star in the Premier League for a decade. Since leaving Palmeiras in 2016 at just 19, he first donned the Manchester City jersey and later joined Arsenal, where he currently plays.
Ten years after trading Brazil for England, a return home, specifically to the Verdão, is on the cards for the Brazil international striker, as he himself revealed in an interview with Romário TV.
"My connection to Palmeiras has never been broken. Whenever I'm in Brazil, unfortunately, I've also had my injuries, and I've treated them there. I always follow the club with great affection, and of course, I dream of returning one day to play, not to end my career. I think about coming back every day, my wife can attest to that," he joked.
It's worth noting that Abel Ferreira's Palmeiras currently leads the Brasileirão, three points clear of second-placed Athletico Paranaense.
This season, Jesus has accumulated just 781 minutes across 21 appearances for the Gunners, who are set to face Sporting in the Champions League quarter-finals.
