Aribo, Ekong join to take Dallas camp up to 19 players
The Super Eagles camp for the upcoming international friendly games continues to welcome players.
According to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) there are now 19 players in camp preparing for the upcoming games.
The Super Eagles camp opened in Dallas, Texas in the United States of America (USA) on Wednesday, May 27 with the coaching crew, NFF officials and 13 players.
The Super Eagles continue to troop into camp after the conclusion of leagues across Europe.
19 players in Super Eagles camp
The NFF have now confirmed an increase to 19 following the addition of Europa League finalist Joe Aribo and Watford defender William Troost-Ekong.
A statement on social media about the players in camp by the NFF said, "Update! Chidozie Awaziem and Francis Uzoho in camp. 19 players now in camp. Adeyinka, Olorunleke, Buhari, Madu, Rafiu, Mbaoma, Sanni, Bello, Aina, Ajayi, Ekong, Simon, Iwobi, Bassey, Aribo, Moffi, Bonke, Awaziem, Uzoho."
Super Eagles boss Jose Peseiro in a video posted on the team's official social media handles explained how he is preparing for thr friendly games against Mexico and Ecuador.
On Saturday, May 28, 2022, the Super Eagles face Mexico at the AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas.
The second friendly against Ecuador will take place on Thursday, 2nd June 2022 at the Red Bull Arena in New Jersey.
