Arda Güler Named Real Madrid Player of the Month for September

Real Madrid starlet Arda Güler has been named the club's Player of the Month for September 2026. Los Blancos announced the 21-year-old midfielder's accolade across their official social media channels. The Turkey international has enjoyed a standout start to the campaign, quickly establishing himself as one of the squad's most influential figures with remarkable chance-creation numbers.

Güler is currently away on international duty with Turkey during the three-week break. His side suffered back-to-back defeats against a France team managed by former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane and Italy. Turkey face consecutive away fixtures against Belgium and Italy next.

At the start of the season, Güler was far from guaranteed a starting berth at the Santiago Bernabéu amid fierce competition in attack from Vinícius Júnior, Kylian Mbappé, Yan Diomande, and Jude Bellingham operating behind them as a traditional number 10. Nevertheless, the Turkish prodigy earned his place in the side and has forged an impressive understanding with Bellingham in the attacking midfield.
