Joshua spent most of his summer in the United States where he hung out with his friend Floyd Mayweather several times.

It was down time with his family in  Costa del Sol, south of Spain as he vacationed with his mum and friends Leon Skinner and David Ghansa who were also with their mothers.

The 27-year-old boxer shared some of the vacation photos on social media and also wrote a tribute to the mums.

“Let's make a toast... To the struggle they went through to raise us to be men,” he wrote alongside the photo.

Joshua is very fond of his mum whom he credits for his success as a boxer.

The boxer is born to Jonathan, an Irish-Nigerian and Yeta all from Sagamu in Ogun State, Nigeria.

Joshua’s mum only came to England when she married Jonathan. They are now separated.

She now lives in North London where she works as a social worker.
