AC Milan forward Christian Pulisic has sustained a bone bruise and microfracture in his right shin following his last match at the 2026 World Cup, according to The Athletic.
The US star picked up the injury during the 4-1 loss to Belgium in the tournament's Round of 16. He was attempting to kick the ball but instead struck the leg of opposing captain Youri Tielemans. Pulisic was forced off the field, and Italian reports suggest his recovery period will be between three and six weeks.
Just days ago, it was revealed that another Milan forward, Santiago Gimenez, also suffered an injury during Mexico's 3-2 defeat to England in the same World Cup stage. His absence is expected to be even longer, around two months, which will likely disrupt the Rossoneri's plans to sell him this summer.
