An Intriguing Choice: Golden State Rookie Includes Wembanyama in All-Time Starting Five

NBA rookie Yaxel Lendeborg has named Victor Wembanyama to his all-time starting five. The 24-year-old forward, selected 11th overall by the Golden State Warriors in the summer's NBA draft, took a moment to ponder before revealing his dream lineup: teammate Steph Curry, Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Wembanyama.

San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama led the team to the NBA Finals during the 2025/26 campaign, where Wemby and company ultimately fell 4-1 to the New York Knicks.

Selected first overall by the Spurs in the 2023 NBA Draft, the 22-year-old Frenchman is set to begin just his fourth season in the league this fall.
