CW cancels show after 12 years on air

 
 
With just few episodes left until the winner of 'America's Next Top Model' Cycle 22 emerges, CW has confirmed that the show is officially coming to an end.

After 22 seasons and 12 years, CW has confirmed that the ongoing season of hit reality competition TV series ' America's Next Model' will be its end.

The series will come to an end after airing its finale which is set for December 4, 2015.

Tyra Banks who has hosted and executive  produced the show with Ken Mok since it premiered in May 2003 , shared the news via her Twitter platform.

'America's Next Model' is one of CW's  longest-running series. It premiered in 2003 on UPN and has aired 22 separate cycles.

The network is currently in talks about airing a retrospective special sometime in late 2016.
