Amazon has launched a very cheap version of its 7-inch Fire tablet that is priced at $49.99, and will be available later this month by September 30th, 2015.

The tablet comes equipped with the aforementioned 7-inch IPS display with a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, and a quad-core 1.3GHz processor supported by 1GB of RAM.

The device will also carry a 2-megapixel rear-facing camera for taking photos or recording 720p HD video. At the front will be a VGA camera.

The Amazon Fire is available on the Amazon website and it runs Amazon’s Fire OS 5 Bellini out-of-the-box.

The previous Amazon Fire tablet came with a 8-inch HD screen and cost $100.
