All Candidates for Tottenham's Managerial Hot Seat – A Surprise Return Also in Play

Tottenham Hotspur is actively searching for a new manager following Igor Tudor's departure, with the London club keen to fill the vacancy before the season concludes.

According to dailymail.co.uk, Roberto De Zerbi is the top target. The club's management is reportedly trying to persuade him to take the reins immediately, despite his apparent preference to wait until summer. The Italian coach, who has previously managed Brighton and Marseille, is high on their list, though some fan sections have expressed reservations.

Conversely, Adi Hütter has ruled himself out of contention, clarifying his intention to return to management next season.

Meanwhile, a surprising scenario has emerged, with Glenn Hoddle being considered for a temporary solution, despite not having managed for nearly 20 years.

Tottenham is seeking its fourth manager in less than a year, following a challenging period that saw the team endure poor results in the Premier League and an exit from the Champions League.

Other names, such as Sean Dyche, had also been on the shortlist but have since distanced themselves. The club's management is also exploring options with a deep understanding of the team, including Tim Sherwood and Harry Redknapp.

Furthermore, the club's hierarchy is reluctant to commit to a long-term contract immediately, as they plan to evaluate more options in the summer, including Mauricio Pochettino.
