Alimpijević: Jokić to play for Serbia this summer!

Nikola Jokić should be available for both windows, in July and August. Dušan Alimpijević

Alimpijević understands that the basketball public wants to know about his communication with the Denver Nuggets star, a three-time NBA MVP. "There was no issue from the very first moment; he's someone I've been in contact with since I took on the coaching role. Communication with him is at the simplest and easiest possible level. He truly lives for the national team, even if it might not have seemed that way to some at times. He's incredibly enthusiastic about representing his country. He's the one who called his teammates and thanked them for their fight in previous windows. We expect him, if everything goes according to plan – of course, we don't know what might happen before June 22nd – but, God willing and with good health, we expect him."

"It's different with Bogdan. He has his own situation he's resolving with his club, dealing with some minor health issues. I can say it's likely he'll miss the July window, but he'll be with the team for the August window."
