Rapper reveals ‘Afrikan lady' artwork

Aina More presents the artwork for her single ‘Afrikan lady'.

The cover art image for her new song was shot in Lagos, Nigeria.

“’Afrikan lady’ is a very straight forward song about who I am as an African Woman”, More said in a statement.

“In this case (the images) I chose to embrace my melanin as I believe it's one of the things that heavily account for who I am and I consider it to be true wealth.

“African women today are a variety of many things and I didn't want to portray just the traditional Afrikan woman in these images”, she said.

The forthcoming song features production from Lagos based sound engineer and producer Benie Macaulay. The full version of the English MC’s song was recorded at the famous Abbey Road Studios in London.

‘Afrikan lady’ is a follow up to ‘Girls killin it’.
