Partizan basketball players were defeated by Efes in Round 36 of the EuroLeague, losing 79:72 after overtime. Pablo Laso, the coach of the Turkish team, dedicated the beginning of his post-game press conference to Duško Vujošević.

You could follow the game between Partizan and Efes live on the Sportal website.

At the start of the press conference, the Spanish coach paid tribute to the legendary former Partizan coach Duško Vujošević, who passed away at 68 after a long and difficult illness.

Duško Vujošević was an inspiration to many people in European basketball. - Pablo Laso

Following his tribute, Laso shifted his focus to the game...

It's tough to analyze the game right now. I believe we did many things well, but there were moments where we were 'cold.' We played against a team that had won six consecutive games, yet we still managed to secure the victory. Our defense was solid, and from that, we found solutions in offense. - Pablo Laso

Veselý Bids Farewell to Vujošević

As a reminder, Duško Vujošević passed away at the age of 68 after a long, exhausting battle with illness. Throughout the day, numerous legends of both domestic and European basketball, especially those who blossomed in his black-and-white garden—players he personally molded—paid their respects. Jan Veselý is one of them...

Words cannot describe how grateful I am to you, Dule, for everything you did for me at the beginning of my career. As an eighteen-year-old, I came to Belgrade and never would have thought I'd get the chance to be in the starting five at that age. Your work and approach were incredible, perhaps too strict for some, but for us young players, and especially for me, it was paramount. I learned so much, but most importantly, I fell in love with basketball and learned how to play the right way. Rest in peace, and thank you for everything. - Jan Veselý
