We have had great, award-winning contemporary Nigerian books published recently and we can’t help but wonder which of the books published in the last 10 years will be considered “classics” to future generations.

There are some obvious ones that people will nominate like 'Americanah and Half of a Yellow Sun' by Chimamanda Adichie, 'The Fishermen' by Chigozie Obioma, 'Daughters who walk this Path' by Yejide Kilanko, 'Measuring Time' by Helon Habila, 'Everyday is for the Thief ' by Teju Cole, 'Lagoon' by Nnedi Okoroafor.

But what other Nigerian books published within the last decade do you think will be remembered forever?

Tell us which books you think will be the new classic in the comment below and or tweet us @PulseNigeria247 or post a pic on Instagram/Twitter using the hashtag #PulseBooksClassics!
