Detective Efe stood quite tensed with his usual cup of Coffee alongside a bean cake sausage locally called 'Akara and Bread'. He couldn't fathom the next move on the board for the Omega but surely He had the intuition that Senator Twanda Chaggi was going to be killed as usual although that wasn't the reason he was sent to Abuja. An Intelligent officer of his calibre always got the call to protect and secure important personals when they arrive Nigeria.

His Tie seemed too tight as he tugged it loose a bit or he was so anxious thinking about how he could decipher the Omega's Plan

"See the way Stress wan just Nack you troway erhn Efe?", Asked a lanky figure who appeared behind The Detective

"My Brother, I just tire abeg", replied Detective Efe as he looked towards his partner. Detective Ayotunde Bolaji is a long time friend and a Partner to Detective Efe, lanky in figure and very troublesome too but his analytical and calculative skills are second to none.

"You should actually get some rest Bro, you haven't blinked an eyelid since we arrived Abuja", said, Detective Ayo, as he laid his hand on Efe's shoulders

"I know man but I'm scared of this guys, only God knows what they are up to this time around who knows they could even blow up the hotel", Efe rebounded looking towards the Grand Oak Hotels and Suites which was the hotel the senator and the police detectives were lodged. Thinking about it the hotel was heavily guarded and also it was already evening/night meaning it was less than 12 hours before the seminar by 7 am in the morning so what could possibly go wrong? Efe turned towards Ayo and nodded again in approval, he handed him the keycard to the hotel room and he headed straight into the hotel.

The grand oaks Hotel was a magnificent structure that boasts of a 5-storey building and 3 Olympic sized swimming pools for lodged guests only, the interiors were sleek and the furniture was alluring it had the look of a Japanese imperial palace and the air was well conditioned. Efe got to the already closing elevator in time to catch up with a man and a lady In Hotel uniforms probably house keeping or cleaners he didn't care either way but he quite noticed the lady was sudden in her movements and kept her face away from him with neatness and precision but still he didn't mind he got off at the Third Storey and waved at the friendly guy who chatted with him a bit and was humbly concerned about his welfare.

Efe struggled lazily towards his room and opened the door via a swipe to the door and in less than a second the door was opened, He quickly took his clothes off and had a long shower after which he ate dinner and laid down on his bed. He thought about Tega and wanted to place a call but somehow it slipped his mind as he came across the thought of what the Omega had in mind.

"To catch a Criminal one must think like a Criminal" Ayo would always say In confidence but Efe always objected in the case of The Omega cause they were real but seemed like a myth!

Lost in thoughts and dilemma, Detective Efe fell asleep and woke up as early as 6 am to check up on the Senator.

"Good Morning Sir, how was your night rest?", he saluted

"Very Fascinating and quite impeccable", Senator Twanda Exclaimed with joy. The Senator looked well famished and excited all together. Efe was half glad it was all going fine and also half alert looking at the current situation on the ground as the Senator talked all through the way to Wuse 2 in Abuja about the Hotel services and the surprise complimentary cup of Irish Tea he had received last night.

The journey was too smooth to be true Detective Efe taught as he scanned around the environment on the seminar ground, it was 7 am on the dot and the Seminar had just begun.

"Hey Ayo, what's good bruh, something's not right but I can't place my fingers on it", Detective Efe asked Ayo as they stood guard close to the stage at the seminar hall.

"Don't beat it, man, everything's fine. They probably scared of us y'know", Ayo said Laughing a bit.

Efe spent the next minutes looking around the hall for any suspicious activities until the Senator was called upon stage. He was accompanied by a huge round of applause , smiling towards the crowd he was about to speak up when suddenly blood began to gush out from his nose and then his ears and then his eyes and mouth. Senator Chaggi collapsed and died on the spot and A huge chaos erupted throughout the hall, Detective Efe was left stunned and confused as he couldn't understand what just happened.

A lot of News agencies had arrived the scene so did The Nigerian Health Emergency Response team, the Senator had been killed by a slow but lethal poison which he ingested and it Takes up to 10/11 hours before it takes effect which means he was already killed the night before! Detective Efe stood Mind blown as the Health Team explained the Phenomenon that led to his Death.

News 24 Had just reported the death of the South African Senate President and the Nnamdi Azikwe International airport Abuja was thrown into a frenzy too except for Agent 04 and I who had just boarded the next flight to Lagos.

"Who would have thought the great alhaji Danko was killed by a lady?", laughed Chad Aka Agent 04 as he fastened his seatbelt

"Well, Shit happens plus this mission is by far my easiest. Can't wait to see what the last one looks like", I replied looking at him casually.

"Good luck then Pawn Agent, I hope you make it to the real squad and I loved your idea of poison", Chad Concluded as the winged iron bird tore the skies one more time towards the city that never sleeps...
