'All proceeds of the album goes to Id Cabasa,' singer says

Alapomeji Ancestral Records (AAR) singer 9ice has stated why he titled his eighth studio album

Speaking to HipTV, he says he did so to honour the producer for his immense contribution to the success of his career.

"You can’t celebrate someone when they are not alive. You celebrate them when they are alive to see it themselves,” the 'Gongo Aso' crooner says.

9ice  further adds that all proceeds from the album will go to ID Cabasa.

The producer who is responsible for some of his hit songs back then including 'Street credibility' and 'Photocopy' also produced some tracks off the latest album named after him.

'Olorunsogo', 'Beautifully spoilt', 'Ogara', are some of the tracks by Id Cabasa on the album which was released in November.

"Id Cabasa" follows seven of his previously released albums - "Certificate" (2007), "Gongo Aso" (2008), "Tradition" (2009), "Versus" (2011), "Bashorun Gaa" (2011), "Deluxe Version Versus & Bashorun Gaa" (2011), and "CNN/GRA" (2014).
