During his crazy drive, he destroyed five parked cars and almost ran over a pedestrian, media on the Italian island reported.

When the senior started driving, he quickly lost control of the car and hit other parked vehicles. The city guards started chasing him. He continued driving and miraculously did not hit a pedestrian on one of the streets.

He stopped only when the damaged wheel of his car practically broke off due to subsequent impacts with obstacles.

City guards confiscated the car of the elderly road pirate and handed him over to his family.
