The German boxer, who holds a professional record of 45 wins (20 by knockout), 6 losses, and 3 draws, will face Granit Stein (20-2-1, 11 KOs). The bout will take place at the Porsche Arena, a venue where Sturm has previously engaged in memorable battles against opponents such as Robert Stieglitz, Darren Barker, and Ronald Hearns.

Following his split-decision victory over Fedor Chudinov in 2016, Sturm was absent from the ring for four years. Since then, his activity has been sporadic, with one fight each in 2020 and 2021, a loss to Istvan Szili in 2022, two bouts in 2023, and one last year.

Sturm gained international recognition 22 years ago when he lost his WBO middleweight title to Oscar De La Hoya via a split decision after 12 rounds.
