Tambuwal Purchases Governorship Form

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal has officially signified his interest to contest for the governorship of Sokoto State.

Tambuwal purchased, on Friday, November 21, the nomination form which would enable him contest the gubernatorial elections on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The speaker was originally billed to contest the presidential elections but he abandoned this ambition in the interest of his party’s unity.

Tambuwal was involved in the November 20 fracas at the National Assembly which saw him tear gassed and led to his supporters having to smuggle him into the complex.
