PDP to hold Lagos governorship primaries today

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is set to hold its governorship primaries today, December 8.

The major contenders for the party’s ticket are former Minister of State for Defence and two-time aspirant, Musiliu Obanikoro and newcomer to the PDP, Jimi Agbaje.

Other contestants for the PDP ticket are Babatunde Gbadamosi, Deji Doherty, Tokunbo Kamson and Modupe Chukwuemeka.

Obanikoro has been the most vocal of the aspirants and he has stated that only he can liberate Lagos from the clutches of former Governor, Bola Tinubu.
