Witness festive traditions from all over the world from 20th to 28th December, the Expo 2020 Dubai site will be a festive wonderland filled with Christmas trees, Christmas boxes and other Christmas décor that honors tradition but also has a modern twist.

There will be something for all: from Christmas carols and songs performed around the districts to magical roving entertainment popping up across the site and a daily Christmas parade, Al Wasl Plaza will be turned into a magical Winter Wonderland space with stunning scenic, themed projection content and a special Christmas show each evening.

The 27th edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival, taking place from 15th December 2021 to 29th January 2022, will be a spectacular season of family entertainment, shopping deals, prizes and culinary experiences.

Famous for its six weeks of slashed prices and a full calendar of events, highlights include lively concerts, incredible drone shows, fireworks display, mega-raffles and an array of offers and promotions. Indulge in a bit of retail therapy at Dubai’s many shopping malls or visit the popular DSF markets, there is plenty to see and

AMMOS, the favorite Greek restaurant in Rixos Premium Dubai, JBR, is gearing up for the festive season with a range of traditional Greek delicacies to celebrate Christmas, New Year’s Eve and everything in between.

Available from 24th till 30th December from 12pm onwards and exclusively for lunch on 31st December, the festive specials feature delicious Greek dishes such as silky pumpkin soup (a butter-pumpkin cream soup with basil oil, topped with pine nut seeds), chicken and herbs delight (slow cooked rotisserie chicken marinated with Greek herbs and served with heavenly buttery potatoes), as well as black cod surprise (poached tender black cod served alongside a variety of wild greens, enriched with lemon sauce and dill oil).

The multi-award winning Zabeel House by Jumeirah, The Greens, is wrapping up the festive feels for Christmas and New Year with its largest property-wide offering of room rate deals and F&B specials to date.

From a festive brunch in LAH LAH, to takeaway Turkeys, and casual Mexican-themed drinks in Vista Del Verde, the city’s favorite neighborhood hangout has everyone covered in The Greens and beyond.

It isn’t Christmas in Dubai without a brunch! LAH LAH, the award-winning pan-Asian kitchen and bar is plating up a full festive brunch on 25th December featuring dishes including peking duck; dim sum, live sushi and sashimi and pandan crème brûlée.

For celebrating with loved ones at home without the headache Zabeel House by Jumeirah, The Greens is making Christmas cooking simple with its Turkey Takeaway, where options of 5-7kg turkey for AED 490 or 7-9kg turkey for AED 680, both come served with all the trimmings including duck fat potatoes; brussel sprouts; honey roasted parsnips and Christmas pudding.

The chic Mina Brasserie terrace, which is already decked out impressively with ornate trees and foliage-filled walls, undergoes a magical winter wonderland makeover in December. For the festive season, the walls are filled with twinkly fairy lights, cozy blankets and decadent ornaments in hues of silver and white, usually from early December. To compliment the festive décor, chef Michael Mina typically created a seasonal selection of brasserie-style sharing plates.

Camp under the stars. Sonara Camp offers a luxe, eco-friendly and sustainable experience set in the heart of the Arabian desert. Guests looking to spend the evening under the stars can experience can enjoy a seasonal menu prepared by the resident chef while a plethora of festive activities such as ginger bread house decorating, a fire show, Santa visit and an elves breaking dancing performance promises to entertain the little ones.

Guarantee the most magical Christmas with a hot air balloon ride for a holiday you’ll never forget, enjoy an immersive camping experience with Balloon Adventures. After an evening spent around the bonfire in a traditional majlis under the stars, and a peaceful night’s sleep in an Arabic stone dwelling, guests can rise before the sun to enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime hot air ballooning experience followed by a gourmet breakfast.
