37-yr-old woman arraigned for selling baby for N100K

The Rivers State Police Command has arraigned a baby factory operator for allegedly selling a newborn baby for N100,000.

The State Police Command stated on its Facebook wall that the baby belonged to a 20-year-old man identified as Ifeanyichukwu Elem.

It was learned that Prince who operates a baby factory in  Port Harcourt, the state capital, had, on October 20, 2016, taken the mother of the baby, a 15-year-old girl called, Peace Oko, from her home in Amangballa village, Afikpo North Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, to Port-Harcourt where the baby was delivered and sold to a couple whose identity could not be immediately ascertained.

After selling the baby, Prince was said to have given the girl N5,000 as transportation back home but when the father of the baby, Elem asked her where his child was, she narrated that Prince had sold the baby.

Elem then reported the case to the police which led to the arrest of the suspect and some of her accomplices at her baby factory.
