Minz releases new single, '234.' (TBD)

One of music’s true triple threats as an artist, producer and songwriter, Nigerian Afropop act Minz releases the Mahine Sef-directed visuals of his new, self-produced and written single ‘234’ (out now via emPawa Africa).

Bursting with energy and bouncing between genres, the new single ‘234’ – Nigeria’s instantly recognisable country code – sees Minz confronting an unfaithful, former lover over an off-kilter Afro-Fusion beat.

First growing up in the well-known Surulere area of Lagos – also the hometown of Grammy Award winning Afropop artist Wizkid – Minz spent his formative years moving around different parts of Nigeria, which is now evident in his hybrid sounds which mesh together to create addictive, deconstructed Afrofusion bangers.

After studying International Law & Diplomacy in the university, he made the decision to pursue his dreams of becoming a full-time musician and has since become known for tracks such as ‘Talk’, ‘Odoyewu’. ‘Gyal’ and his poignant ode to all shades of Black skin ‘Skin’, which have started to introduce his signature sounds to the world.
