Uyoyou Adia to direct new Anthill studios' romantic comedy 'Hey You'

Fast rising filmmaker, Uyoyou Adia is set to return to the director's chair for a new Anthill studios romantic comedy.

The film titled 'Hey You' is scripted by Adia and will be her second directorial project following Inkblot's 'Charge and Bail' released in 2021.

While details of the film are currently under wraps, Anthill studios boss Niyi Akinmolayan revealed in an Instagram post that it will be 18 rated and will premiere in cinemas this year.

“Please welcome Uyi to the Anthill Family as she will be directing our first cinema RomCom (18+)," Akinmolayan wrote.

"Uyi wrote what I think is the most delicious love story I have read. At Anthill studios, we believe in the director’s vision and we will be working with Uyi to make this her best work yet."

The latest Anthill studios production comes in the wake of 'The Man for the Job', a crime drama directed by Akinmolayan and starring Temi Otedola, Uzor Arukwe, Ali Baba and Ini Edo.
